Red Silk Velvet Scarf with Gold Printed Border
I created this scarf myself out of raw silk velvet. I dyed it until it was the perfect deep crimson rouge, and then stenciled the ends with a lovely scolling pattern in true metallic ink that will patina over time in a lovely antique gold. This gorgeous scarf measures 7 inches wide and 68 inches long.
The photographs of this item to not quite display the true beauty of this item, and it must be seen and touched in person to appreciate its lushness and gorgeous colors. The fabric has a wonderful drape. The red has deep little variations in the color, and the gold is very reflective in the light.
It is a beautiful scarf and will receive many compliments. This scarf would look fabulous with almost everything, and has a very old world feel to it.
